Rabiʿ al-Awwal Weekly Learning Topics

Make Rabiʿ al-Awwal a month of knowing, loving and following our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with this four-week learning resource designed to help children explore his life, character and Sunnah in a meaningful way.

Each week focuses on a different theme:

Week 1 — Shamā’il of the Prophet ﷺ
Discover his life, family, early years, Prophethood, challenges, Hijrah and the lessons we can take from his journey.

Week 2 — Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ
Learn about his beautiful character, appearance, manners, habits, relationships and the way he ﷺ lived.

Week 3 — Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ
Move from learning to action by exploring the everyday Sunnahs children can begin bringing into their own lives.

Week 4 — Loving the Prophet ﷺ
Explore what it truly means to love Rasulullah ﷺ — through learning about him, sending salawat, following his Sunnah and keeping that love alive beyond Rabiʿ al-Awwal.

Created with different age groups in mind, these resources can be used as a starting point for family discussions, homeschool lessons, Islamic studies, further research and reflection.

The aim isn't simply to fill our children's minds with facts about the Prophet ﷺ, but to nurture a connection with him — because the more they know him ﷺ, the more they can love him; and the more they love him, the more they will want to follow him.
